Small Mortise and Tenon Box

Sawing box sides to length

Shooting ends square

Ripping to width/height

I am thinking of switching to this as a first hand tool woodworking project, in place of the same box joined with nailed dadoes.  It is a nice, tidy project that incorporates a number of woodworking operation/skills, and without the nails in the box sides there will be more opportunity for carving if people want to try that.   To be continued...
